Duridge Bay Fitness Centre

We are proud of our involvement in delivering this much awaited first class community facility in conjunction with the project design team and the client’s representatives, this project epitomises the collaborative approach we seek to foster on all our undertakings.

The Fitness centre contains a state of the art gymnasium with the whole of the upper floor dedicated to a thriving local boxing club, along with the new build works repairs to the existing building were also undertaken including extensive refurbishment of the existing centre roof, external cladding and mains services upgrades all of which have benefited the whole centre and will do for years to come.

Most importantly the project was delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the high quality standard and finish which has become synonymous with Compass developments.

Prudhoe Waterworld

Compass  have completed refurbishment works in three separate areas within Prudhoe Waterworld Leisure Centre working within confined and publically occupied spaces. The leisure centre remained open and operational throughout our  duration on site, with the

works being phased as agreed with the project team and on site staff.

Phase 1 was to alter the existing Second Gym, Spinning Area and Corridor space to a new the Studio.

Phase 2 was to alter the existing Gym and existing Studio to a new Gym, incorporating works to the adjacent WC and stores.

Phase 3 was to alter the existing Creche to a new Multi-Purpose Studio.

 

Gallagher Park Sports Pavilion - Bedlington

Continuing our ongoing relationship with Northumberland County Council and their partner Active Northumberland, Compass were commissioned to complete a new sports pavilion on the site of the Gallagher Park football pitches in Bedlington. Utilising traditional building techniques the project comprised of constructing new changing and storage facilities together with function room and canteen facilities to service the local community. The difficult construction process was delivered on time, in budget and to the entire satisfaction of the client and end user.
